Regional Managing Director - HiFX Group

Brett, a qualified chartered accountant, has an extensive and diverse global leadership history with over 28 years of commercial experience in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, 12 years of which have been in the financial services industry. Brett co-founded HiFX Australasia in 2001 and has been Managing Director of Currency Online Ltd since HiFX’s acquisition in October 2008. Brett’s passion for delivering best of breed solutions and the best possible client experience continues to drive innovation within the group. His and the group’s success have lead to him being a finalist the in Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year in 2008.

Richard Yardley

General Manager

Richard has been with Currency Online for 19 years and has more than 45 years experience in the banking and financial sector. Initially with CBA Bank and then as a regional manager at Barclays Bank PLC. Richard joined Currency Online (previously Elldridge Lynch & Associates) in a marketing role in 1993 and has been in his current role since 1995. Integrity, trust and professionalism are all cornerstones of Richard’s ethos which he fosters within his team.

Aideen Farrell   BCLG LLM

Compliance and Training Manager

Aideen obtained a Degree in Law & German in Ireland and a Masters in law in Germany and has worked in the banking and finance sector since 2004. Aideen joined Currency Online as the Compliance and Training Manager. Aideen plays an integral role in the prevention of Money-Laundering and Terrorism Financing, ensuring the implementation of all legislative requirements, corresponding with regulatory bodies and protecting the integrity of the business.

Sarah Cochrane   AFOA Accredited

Settlements Manager

Sarah has been with Currency Online for 2 years and has 22 years global experience in Settlements covering all levels of back office processes. Sarah has worked for several financial institutions, including SG Australia, NatWest London, CBA Sydney and London and adds significant value to Currency Online ensuring the very best experience for our clients.

Kuni Tokuo   BA

Japanese Business Development

Kuni has been with Currency Online for 2 years and is responsible for growing our business in Japan, ensuring we meet the current and future needs of the Japanese market. Kuni has a diverse background spending time in Malaysia, the United States, and Japan. Kuni obtained his degree in Business in Oregon, USA. He has worked for Canon, was IT consultant for a clinical company, and as the operations manager for an international school.

Ian Bosley   Bsc(Hons) Computer Science, CSM

Team Leader Core Development (DFX)

Ian has led DFX development for 2 years, producing the robust IT systems which power Currency Online and the HiFX Group. Ian’s team is critical to the ongoing innovation that will ensure we continue to lead in the online money transfer space. Ian has over fifteen years international experience in finance, investment banking and telecommunications including senior positions at BNP Paribas in London and Motorola.

David Hedges   B. Bus. Sci. (Hons)

Global Software Development Manager

David has been with the HiFX Group for more than 2 years, most recently with DFX. His background in financial systems is a continual asset to the business and his global focus ensures we are constantly developing best of breed global software solutions for the business and our clients.
