Currency Online works in real time with real rates
When you register and log into your Currency Online account, the exchange rate we quote you reflects the amount of money you are transferring. Simply put - the more money you transfer the more you'll save. Because we are a self service solution provider you will pay less to exchange your money.
Competitors may try to entice you with exceptional "headline" rates but don't be fooled - if you dig a little deeper you will likely find hidden charges. An attractive rate is worthless if the charges are too high.
The rate you see is the rate you receive
The only charge we make to move your money is the relevant standard bank Telegraphic Transfer fee we pay to move your funds to your beneficiary's bank. These charges are set for each currency.
However for larger transactions we'll even wipe these fees!
For transactions over a certain amount, we'll wipe all our transfer fees. Check out our Zero Fee thresholds for each currency here.

Sometimes you'll need to transfer smaller amounts. That's fine
Some of our competitors stipulate a minimum transaction in the thousands - we don't. Small or large, you can transfer money effortlessly from NZD$50 or currency equivalent.

Placing a market order can sometimes help you achieve a better rate
If you have some time before you need to transfer money, you can try and get a better currency exchange rate.
Placing a Market Order lets you specify a rate you would like to achieve and we'll automatically execute it for you, if or when the market reaches the agreed rate. A few days or weeks could reap significant savings for you.
